Sandy Beard
Executive Chairman
Sandy has been Chair of H&G Limited since 29 October 2020. He has been a Director of numerous public and private companies over the past 25 years. He is the former Chief Executive Officer of CVC Limited (ASX: CVC) (between 2000-2019) where he oversaw annual shareholder returns in excess of 15% per annum. He has extensive experience with investee businesses, including providing advice, assisting in acquisitions, divestments and capital raisings, and in direct management roles, especially bringing management expertise to small-cap companies and driving shareholder returns.
Sandy is currently chair of HGL Limited (ASX: HNG) and FOS Capital (ASX: FOS), and a director of Centrepoint Alliance (ASX: CAF) and Pure Foods Tasmania (ASX: PFT).
Kevin J Eley
Non Executive Director
CA, F FIN, FAICD
Non executive Director, appointed 1985. Chair 5 June 2020 to 29 October 2020. Kevin Eley is a Chartered Accountant with significant executive and director experience, including as Chief Executive Officer of HGL Ltd from 1985 to 2010. Kevin has been the lead director on the board for Audit and Risk matters since 2018. He is a director of EQT Holdings Ltd (ASX: EQT) and Pengana Capital Group Ltd (ASX: PCG), and was a Director of Milton Ltd (ASX: MLT) until it merged with Washington H. Soul Pattinson in October 2021.
Joseph Constable
Executive Director
Joseph Constable is the Portfolio Manager of H&G High Conviction Fund and an executive director of Hancock & Gore since June 2020.
He began working in funds management in 2014 and has experience with UK-based Smith and Williamson and Hunter Hall International. Since 2016 he has worked at Supervised Investments Australia Limited, which was acquired by H&G, and rebranded H&G Investment Management Ltd.
Joseph has a Master of Hisory from the University of Oxford and Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Melbourne. He is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Joseph is currently a non-executive director of Po Valley Energy Limited (ASX: PVE).
Angus Murnaghan
Non Executive Director
Angus has over 30 years of experience in the Australian equities markets. He gained several years’ experience as a highly rated industrial analyst, before moving into a variety of sales and equity capital markets roles, most recently as head of institutional sales for Wentworth securities.
Angus has worked at leading finance and advisory groups including UBS, Ord Minnett and held the role of Managing Director at Moelis & Company for many years.
He has been responsible for the sales and distribution function for over 50 IPO’s ranging from A$50 million to over $1 billion.
